In this issue, we highlight a busy few months at Rangitoto College. Students, staff, and our wider community have enjoyed the many events held—especially after delays over the past year. From sports to cultural events, performing arts to service, there has been something for every student during Term 2.

Water Polo

Our Premier Boys and Girls water polo teams achieved Rangitoto College sporting history winning double national champions in the same afternoon....

Rangitoto Volleyball players and coaches contributed hugely to the Interprovincial Competition held over Queen's Birthday in Wellington. Harbour teams dominated the competition winning five out of the eight divisions....

Waikato Teacher Training Programme

Rangitoto College is proud to be a founding school within the Auckland Schools’ Partnership Project. This year, we are delighted to have two trainee teachers, Dilek Celik and Emily Kennedy, training with us and are currently inviting 2023 applicants....

Music Department News

A change to the Orange Traffic Light setting in time for Term 2 enabled us to go ahead with many of our usual competitions and events in some capacity. Music lessons for wind, brass, and vocals were able to move from their outdoor gazebos to indoor studios keeping doors and windows open....

IB International Student

Last month, Rangitoto College has been fortunate enough to welcome the first international student to the IB diploma program in over two years....
