Year 9 2027 Entrance Testing

All Year 9 students who have successfully enrolled for 2027 will sit an Entrance Test at the College.
The purpose of this is to gain more information about our incoming students to assist with class placements and with identifying areas in which we can support students.

Entrance Testing Dates

There are two assessment dates depending on which intermediate school your child currently attends:

Group 1: Students from Other Intermediates, or anyone unable to sit the test on Monday 9th November

Date: Saturday 7th November 2026

Time: 9:30am–11:30am

Location: Rangitoto College Auditorium

Action Required: Please register here for this test.

*Please do not complete this form if the student attends Murrays Bay or Northcross Intermediate*

Group 2: Students from Murrays Bay Intermediate and Northcross Intermediate

Date: Monday 9th November 2026

Time and Location: TBC

Action Required: No need to register (unless you cannot attend this date)
