Junior Shakespeare is open to students in Years 9 and 10.

In 2023 Junior Shakespeare will start in the second half of Term 3.  Auditions will be held in Week 6, Term 3.  We are performing “The Comedy of Errors”.

The Junior Shakespeare performance is always a highlight of the year. Featuring colourful costumes, props, and drama, the performance is always a testament to the hard work and dedication of the students who have worked to create a magical show.

As the Bard’s plays are brought to life, students with a range of acting backgrounds and experiences all work together to show just how much Shakespeare’s work still resonates with us today. Whether the students perform one of his tragedies or a comedy, Junior Shakespeare is always a success. 

In 2022, we performed a delightful abridged version of A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

Any Student who acts in the production is included.  For Backstage crew they have to attend the majority of meetings and make a meaningful contribution to the Set, Props, Costuming or Music of the production.
