Our school offers hockey opportunities for all skill levels, from complete beginners to seasoned players.

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Thornton McDade as our new Director of Hockey. With his extensive international experience in both playing and coaching, and his passion for the sport, Thornton is set to lead our hockey program to new heights. This appointment marks the beginning of an exciting and transformative journey, ensuring an exceptional hockey experience for every participant.

In 2023, we proudly fielded 3 boys’ teams and 7 girls’ teams across various Harbour Hockey and College Sport Auckland divisions. Our 1st XI boys and girls teams are under the expert guidance of two highly accomplished coaches, former Black Stick Jan Peterson and Regan Bain. The girls’ team competes in the Premier Auckland Secondary Schools competition organised by College Sport, while all our other teams participate in the Harbour Hockey competition.

Our school has a distinguished history of hosting prestigious events, including two international test matches between Korea and New Zealand. Additionally, the Black Sticks men’s and women’s teams have utilised our world-class turf for their training sessions.

All games are played at either Rangitoto College turf, North Harbour Hockey Centre, or other North Shore Venues. It is the student’s responsibility to get to and from trainings and venues.

All players (boys and girls) are required to purchase socks $15.00 from our Uniform Shoppe beside the tennis courts
