Badminton

Rangitoto College teams play in both the Junior and Senior North Harbour competitions and the Auckland Central Premier Competitions.

We are currently Double National Champions holding both the Girls and Boys titles at the NZSS Badminton Nationals for 2026.

Our social badminton program is available for junior and seniors with seniors being held in Term 2 and Juniors in Term 3. We run two sessions per week during these programs.

Teams are limited in the Senior competition and we will enter the maximum number of teams possible. This may mean that not all players who trial will make a team however we will do our best.

Harbour Leagues – Competitive games are played at both the Active Badminton Centre in Albany and North Harbour Badminton Facility in Forrest Hill.

Auckland Premier Competition – Played at Auckland Badminton Centre in Epsom

Own transport required.

Social – Gyms 1 and gym 2

Parent managers are required.

ALL players representing the College in both the Senior and Junior Competitive seasons are required to wear the Kukri PE top and Black shorts.
