Supporting students both inside and outside the classroom is key to ensuring our students achieve academic success. Our world-class library supports students’ literacy with quiet spaces to read, programmes to encourage reading for pleasure, and excellent peer and librarian book recommendations. Our librarians also support students’ assessments through research assistance, one-to-one help, and an enormous range of academic texts in all fields. Students needing help with study for exams can attend the variety of workshops and seminars on study skills and NCEA. Finally, our academic mentoring programmes in the junior school and in Year 11 support students to develop an academic mindset, with the goal of achieving Excellence Endorsements in Level 1.
