Rangitoto College is excited to welcome one of Australia and New Zealand’s foremost educational speakers and the founding director of Success Integrated, Darren Pereia!
At 6.30pm on Thursday 25th August, Darren is offering a parent presentation in our Auditorium.
His workshop will include:
▫️Developing resilience in your child, becoming adaptive & dealing with their current challenges
▫️Using evidence-based, positive psychology interventions & cognitive behavioural techniques to sustainably manage depression & deal with negative thinking
▫️Rectifying poor sleep habits exacerbating mental health issues
▫️Dealing with disappointment, setbacks & failure

Rangitoto College students competed in the North Island finals of the New Zealand Physics and Maths Competition at the University of Auckland. Students completed a 90-minute test with a mixture of multi-choice and short answers.

Super sailor alert! A huge congratulations to Year 13 Sebastian Menzies and his sailing partner for winning the Sailing Kiel Week and the European Open 29er Sailing Championships. These sailors had further success at the Youth Sailing World Championship in the Netherlands, securing a bronze medal. Well done Seb! ⛵️

Year 11 Hedy champions our school value, respect. Hedy respects her peers and teachers in and outside the classroom. She shows respect by listening and following teacher instructions, completing set work to the best possible standard, and endeavouring to meet her own expectations. Hedy believes respect should be shown in everything we do—from hanging out with friends at morning tea to attending Earth and Space Science Scholarship sessions at lunch.
