A community garden is coming to Rangi! The aim of this group is to create a more positive and dynamic school environment for all students.

Members of the group are given the opportunity to make beneficial changes in the school by collaborating with multiple student groups, as well as the wider community. We work together by planting sustainable, healthy produce and earn community service hours as we donate the food to those in need with our partnerships throughout the community.

By joining our group, you will have the opportunity to work with other like-minded individuals who share your passion for community service and gardening. You will have the chance to share your ideas, develop leadership skills, build strong relationships, and make a difference in our school community! Prior experience with gardening is not required to join, only a willingness to help and make a positive impact.

Our group is an excellent way to get involved in school life and make your mark on the world around you. Join us in our mission to make a difference and transform our school into a better place for everybody!

Rangitoto Summit Diploma

Group members are required to participate in 2 events to get this on their student profile and towards their diploma.

Community Service hours are logged separately during each individual event.
