For a second consecutive year, 14 secondary schools on the North Shore combined to host a Career Pathways Expo.

The Expo aimed to provide students and whānau with opportunities to explore future pathways beyond school, bringing together over 60 exhibitors from universities, technical institutes, private training providers, and industry training organisations.

During the two-day event, North Harbour Stadium was abuzz with students, parents, and teachers engaging with exhibitors and having meaningful conversations on future plans.

The Defence Force and the NZ Police were perhaps the most popular booths as the activities and physical challenges were a major drawcard for many students.

In addition, evening seminars were hosted on a variety of topics. We appreciated the time taken by representatives from Fulton Hogan, Watercare, Fonterra, and PWC in sharing the wide range of work roles their large companies have to offer.

After two years of trialling this format, we are delighted to confirm that the combined North Shore Schools Career Pathways Expo is here to stay as an annual Term 2 event.
