The Level 1 Business Studies students have spent six weeks writing business plans and making the necessary preparations in order to make a product and bring it to market. Business planning for the students included but was not limited to, conducting market research, writing SWOT analyses, developing their marketing mix, and unique selling proposition, as well as lots of contingency planning.

All of their hard work and planning paid dividends, as on Saturday 11th June, the students hosted a hugely successful Market Day. The event boasted a wide range of food items, hand-crafted soaps, jewellery, and more. Some entrepreneurial students were able to make a profit from their hard work, while all gained invaluable experience in developing an idea, planning how to bring their idea to life, and executing their plan.
