International Baccalaureate Results 2022

Our IB students and our specialist IB teaching team have excelled again. For the third consecutive year, Rangitoto College achieved a 100 per cent pass rate which is a phenomenal achievement. The college's average point score is 37 which is 11 per cent higher than the world average....

NCEA and Scholarship Results 2022

Scholarship and NCEA results were very strong once again in 2022. It is exceptionally pleasing to see our students not simply passing their NCEA external examinations, but doing so at the highest level, gaining Excellence and Merit endorsements....

Student Leaders

Meet our new Student Leaders. Leading the team are our Head Students for 2023: Ha-Yun (Hayun) Seo, Joshua Peng, Kaia Buckley, and Nicolas Ouwehand. They are supported by our Deputy Head Students: Daisy Tucker, James Edgeler, Lucas Pritchard, and Suya Haering....

Beach Volleyball

Rangitoto College had unprecedented results at the National Senior Beach Volley Championships in Mount Maunganui. Half of our 14 teams gained top-eight placings in their Division 1 competitions and three of the four teams won gold....

Visual Arts Scholarships

Visual Arts celebrates amazing Scholarship success with stellar folios submitted by students. A total of 10 students achieved Scholarships in the Visual Arts in 2023....

Kotahitanga Day

Kotahitanga Day was held for our new Year 9 cohort and was a highlight of the year. Kotahitanga Day is an important day for students to build unity, a sense of belonging, and positive relationships with each other and their Year 13 Peer Support Leaders....

Lunar Festival

The Korean and Chinese Committees showcased the delights of their cultures at our annual Lunar Festival celebrations....

Athletics

We are thrilled to share that, in very challenging conditions, our athletes in the New Zealand Secondary Schools Track and Field/Road Race Championships achieved some awesome results and personal bests....

International Department

We are delighted to welcome over 100 international students from 18 different countries to Rangitoto College and offer them an excellent global educational experience in Auckland, New Zealand....

Scholarship Breakfast

Students, staff, and whānau recently celebrated success at our annual Scholarship Breakfast. Thank you to our Rangitoto PTA for supplying fantastic kai. A special thank you must also go to our dedicated Scholarship teachers....
