Academic Success at Rangitoto College

Rangitoto College is a top academic school and produces extremely high quality graduates, many of whom go on to the world's best universities. One recent graduate has been awarded a full scholarship to study at Harvard University, while another has been granted a full scholarship to New York University Abu Dhabi.

Special Programmes for International Students

Rangitoto College’s Term 4 Programme is designed to help short-term students have an amazing New Zealand experience. The programme is a combination of classwork and trips to some of Auckland’s best attractions – an action packed month of learning and adventure!

We also offer specialist programmes for people interested in learning about rugby or sailing.

Two World-Class Courses at Rangitoto College

Rangitoto College is proud to offer students the choice of two world-class qualifications, the International Baccalaureate and the National Certificate of Educational Achievement.

Our highly-qualified teachers are passionate about their subjects and carefully monitor student progress to keep students on track to succeed. Students with special abilities are offered extension classes to help them learn faster and get ahead more easily. Rangitoto College reports fully on academic progress once a year, with progress reports issued every term.
