In this issue, we reflect on an eventful 2022. This term saw celebrations for all areas of our school—academics, performing arts, sports, and culture. Senior and junior students have excelled in their end-of-year efforts.

Our Rangitoto College Korean Committee held a Korean Parent Information Evening hosted in Korean, which was a comfort to many of our Korean parents, in order to present Korean parents and students with academic information, as well as the opportunities offered at Rangitoto College....

Fashion Showcase

Our students enjoyed showcasing a spectacular display of their created fashion garments in our live annual Fashion Showcase. Our students unleashed their creativity and produced a diverse range of garments including wearable arts, sustainable fashion, Bauhaus-inspired hoodies, and pepeha t-shirts....

Creative Writing Club

Fabulous opportunities were provided this year in our Creative Writing Club where we have crafted epic novels, poetry, short stories, and competition entries....

Book Corner

Recruiting School Photographers for 2023

Become a School Photographer and get real life experience taking photos of school functions & activities.
To join you need to be a senior student in 2023, have experience and knowledge with digital cameras, have strong attention to detail, composition, and lighting, have excellent communication skills and a readiness to work during and after school, and on weekends. You will gain the following work experience for your CV, have your photos displayed on the school website, Panorama, and social medias, and service recognition on your school profile.

Music Tuition Programme 2022/2023

Reports for students in the 2022 Music Tuition Programme have been emailed home. Enrolments for the 2023 Music Tuition Programme will happen during Term 1 Week 1. Enrolment forms will be available at the Music Office from 31st January onwards.

2023 Co-Curricular Music Groups

Auditions took place this term for current Year 9 to 12 students wishing to be involved in co-curricular instrumental and choral groups. Students who are new to Rangitoto in 2023 will be able to enquire about these opportunities at the start of the new school year.
