Rangitoto College has a strong cricket programme for both boys and girls. The school boasts indoor and outdoor nets, as well as a grass wicket.

Term 1 and Term 4.
Game Days
Boys play on Saturday morning or afternoons. Girls play on Wednesdays after school.
Training Times
Most teams train twice a week, usually in the afternoon.

At Rangitoto College we firmly believe in the value of sports to both our boys and girls sports teams. For cricket at Rangitoto College we aim to provide as many students the opportunity to play with the facilities on site including a grass wicket, artificial wicket, indoor and outdoor nets.  

Teams compete in various cups and competitions, including a Colts annual quadrangular tournament against Rosmini College, Westlake Boys High School and Whangarei Boys High School.

Multiple teams are available for all students, from the 1st XI all the way to our entry-level junior teams

Our girls programme has been a huge success since it was re-established in 2019. With prestigious coach Nathan Banks at the helm we continue to strive for acheiveing top results. 

VENUES and TRANSPORT

All teams train at the college, however, games can be anywhere in Auckland.

It is each family’s responsibility to get their students to and from all trainings and games.

UNIFORM

Uniform is included in the 1st XI fees.

All other players are required to purchase a blue polo shirt from the schools Uniform Shop (on school grounds beside the tennis courts) with your own white cricket pants.
