E rere ana ngā rau o mihi ki raro i te whakaaro aroha. We hope this email finds you and your whānau well as we reflect on a busy and rewarding start to the year.

It is our great pleasure to share with you our very first pānui for 2026.

Please take a moment to have a look through the attached pānui. Inside, you will find:

  • Term 1 Highlights: A look at the wonderful things our Māori students have been doing and achieving throughout the school. These highlights are all written from the perspective of our tauira.
  • Introductions: Meet some of the staff members who join our crew as well as some of our Tū Rangatira students that have taken on leadership roles with the school.
  • Wānanga Series: Learn more about wānanga series and the changes that have been made within the series
  • Curriculum: Learn about some of the exciting things happening in our three subjects (Te Reo Māori, Whakairo, and Te Ao Haka)
  • Opportunities: Learn about some things that you might want to get involved in.
  • Student / Raukura Profiles: Here from a couple of our current of Tū Rangatira students as well as a couple of raukura who share their current journey.

2025 Editions

Ngā mihi aroha e rere atu nei ki a koutou, e te whānau hāpai, mō tō koutou manaakitanga me tō tautoko ki ā tātou rangatira mō āpōpō.  Our Term 3 pānui, is a snapshot into the achievements and life our rangatahi have shared both inside and outside of kura. We believe it is important to bring these stories back to you, our whānau and wider hāpori, so you can see not just the events themselves, but the connections, laughter, and growth that make their school experience truly memorable.

E te hāpori whānui o Rangitoto, ngā mihi o te wā!  We’re excited to share our termly Māori Pānui (Newsletter), The Matariki Edition! This edition is a celebration of the incredible events, achievements, and learning that have taken place across our kura this term.

Inside, you will find highlights from our kaupapa Māori events and learning experiences; a spotlight on the lives and journeys of our Raukura (past students) and current tauira; and reflections from recent haerenga (trips) and curriculum-based mahi across the school. It is a powerful celebration of our rangatahi, our culture, and the impactful work happening here.
