KBB Music Festival

Rangitoto College music groups will be performing in the KBB Music Festival in Parnell on 10, 11 and 12 August.
Our 30-minute performance brackets are as follows:

Tuesday 10 August
Orchestra (Symphony) – 10am at Holy Trinity Cathedral
Sinfonia – 12noon at Holy Trinity Cathedral
Chamber Orchestra – 3.30pm at St Mary’s Church

Wednesday 11 August
Concert Band – 2.30pm at Holy Trinity Cathedral
Wind Orchestra – 3.30pm at Holy Trinity Cathedral

Thursday 12 August
Junior Jazz Orchestra – 10.30am at St Mary’s Church
Big Band – 2.30pm at St Mary’s Church
Jazz Orchestra – 4.30pm at St Mary’s Church

Sessions are open to the public. Donation at the door.

Dear parents and caregivers

Your son/daughter will be taking part in the KBB Music Festival in Week 3 next term. All events will be held at Holy Trinity Cathedral and Cathedral Church of St Mary in Parnell. Students will be travelling to and from the venue by bus. Information on the meeting times and Bus pickup/drop off times, what to bring and wear etc for each ensemble attending the festival are listed below.

*Orchestra and Sinfonia students will be bussed back to reach Rangitoto Top carpark at 1.00pm. Chamber Orchestra students will be performing in the afternoon and will be bussed back to reach the Top carpark at 5.45pm.
