KBB Music Festival

TEN Rangitoto bands and orchestras will take part in the 2024 KBB Music Festival on 12, 13, 14 and 16 August – for a huge celebration of music-making!  If you can get to Parnell to hear some of our groups, they would LOVE your SUPPORT! Performance times are below.

Monday 12th August:

10.00am – SYMCHM (Year 9 Symphony/Chamber) @ Holy Trinity Cathedral

12noon – Symphony Orchestra @ Holy Trinity Cathedral

Tuesday 13th August:

9.30am – Chamber Orchestra @ St Mary’s Church

10.30am – Con Grazia @ St Mary’s Church

12noon – Con Spirito @ St Mary’s Church

Wednesday 14th August:

4.00pm – Wind Orchestra @ Holy Trinity Cathedral

7.30pm – Concert Band @ Holy Trinity Cathedral

Friday 16th August:

9.30am – Jazz Orchestra @ St Mary’s Church

11.00am – Big Band @ St Mary’s Church

2.00pm – Jazz Band @ St Mary’s Church

Numerous Rangitoto students will also be involved in the KBB Honours Programme 5pm – 9pm.
