We have also had teams achieving podium finishes in girls water polo, table tennis, badminton and sailing.

The school also had athletes selected in national teams in the following sports; swimming, cheerleading, volleyball, sailing, water polo and basketball, and individuals achieved national medals in athletics, swimming, judo, stand up paddling, skateboarding, badminton, diving and sailing.

At the regional level the following Rangitoto premier/senior teams were either Auckland or North Harbour Champions; Netball, Boys Basketball, Girls Badminton, Equestrian, and Beach volleyball.

Over the last few years there have already been a number of outstanding achievements. The most notable being National Secondary School gold medals for our premier boys and girls water polo teams and Auckland championship gold and silver medals for our girls and boys volleyball teams respectively.
