UNICEF at Rangitoto College supports the work of UNICEF NZ in protecting vulnerable children around the world.

By raising awareness and promoting student voice, our group shines a light on global issues. Through our ongoing photojournalism project, Humans of UNICEF, students create a safe space for others to share their perspectives on important social issues—from poverty to education.

What We Do
  • Run fundraisers such as Quiz Night and Movie Night (usually in Terms 1 and 2)
  • Support UNICEF NZ in providing aid for global challenges
  • Create opportunities for students to engage with international issues and solutions

Rangitoto Summit Diploma

Year 9 and Year 10 students are expected to attend/complete 3 events throughout the year for the service to be added onto their student profile.

In order to have your activity added to your profile in time to be recognised at prizegiving, please ensure it is added by:

  • Year 9 and Year 10: 21 November 2025
  • Year 11: 19 November 2025
  • Year 12 and Year 13: 18 September 2025
