Relay For Life is an inspiring community event that brings people together to:

• Celebrate / whakanui cancer survivors and carers
• Remember / maumaharatia loved ones lost to cancer
• Fight back / tū atu by raising awareness and funds for the Cancer Society

Whether you’ve been personally touched by cancer or simply want to make a difference, Relay For Life is for you.

Note: Due to the change in location for this event, we will not be participating as a school team at the end of March this year. Students are still able to take part in the event if they are keen to participate but must remember that all school aged children registering as a team must have parent or guardian supervision on the day. However, the school remains committed to the Cancer Society and we will be looking to “Relay our Way” later in the  year when the school will organise a separate fundraising and service event later in the year.

• Fundraising begins as soon as you sign up, supporting the vital work of the Cancer Society
• On the big day, you’ll join your team in carrying a baton around the track—symbolising our community’s unstoppable fight against cancer
• Relay For Life is not a race—you can walk, run, or even dance at your own pace, doing as many or as few laps as you like
• Enjoy a vibrant atmosphere with performances, fun activities, music, and food to keep the energy alive
