The end of year has been a busy one for 9PFA (Performing Arts/CND) who have been working very hard towards the 1-hour performance of Madagascar Jnr, where the class performed two shows to family and friends on Tues 25/11. The storyline pretty much follows the movie, and is a dancing, singing and acting extravaganza. With six scenes in total and rotating casts (with very distinguishable costumes for the audience’s benefit!), students performed in at least two scenes each; each group being responsible for the blocking and choreography of their scene. There were some absolutely standout performances (including dancing ‘steak’), and all in all it was a huge amount of fun for performers and audience alike.
Huge congrats to all performers, and a special shout out to our professional Y10 tech crew, Amy Heays-Wilson and Snowy Lam.
