Rangitoto College is proud to be a founding school within the Auckland Schools’ Teacher Trainee Programme (ASTTP/Waikato) and The Teacher Institute (TTI).
We are now recruiting our future trainee teachers for 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone who is thinking about becoming a teacher, particularly those considering a career change and looking to be immersed in a school environment while they train. Pathways Evening - Save the Date

4:30pm - 7:30pm, Tuesday 19 August
Our Pathways Evening is being hosted in the Auditorium for Year 10 and Year 11 students and their parents/caregivers
The purpose of the evening is to help these students and parents/caregivers, make informed decisions about subject choices. The evening is an Expo style event that will provide a variety of opportunities for you to gather subject choice information by Exploring the ‘World of Work’ exhibit Talking with subject teachers and get your questions answered Speak with Careers, IB, NCEA and Learning Support experts

Enrolment Information Evening

Thursday 17 July at 6:30pm
We invite you to join us for our Enrolment Information Evening.
Please join us for performances in the auditorium and a chance to speak with sporting and cultural leaders from 6:10 pm. Presentations will begin in the auditorium at 6:30 pm and be followed by the opportunity to speak with staff from Learning Support, Heads of Departments for English, Maths, Science, Social Science, Sport and Music. Pastoral care leaders and enrolments support will also be present and available for questions.
