Physiotherapy

The school offers an on-site physiotherapy service to support students with injury management and recovery.

Accessing the Service

• Students must first have their injury assessed.
• Assessments are available daily before school, 8.00 am – 8.40 am (no appointment required).
• After the assessment, the Physiotherapist will complete a Student Physio Appointment Record, which outlines the first 2–3 appointment times. Additional sessions are scheduled weekly as needed to complete treatment.

The Student Physio Appointment Record is essential for attending appointments.

• Each morning, the Physiotherapist provides the record to the Attendance Office.
• The Attendance Office will:
  • Keep a copy on file (to reissue if a student misplaces theirs)
  • Email a copy to the student’s parent/guardian
• Students must collect their record from the Attendance Office at interval.

Important: Students cannot attend their appointment without their Student Physio Appointment Record. To leave class, they must show the record to their teacher.

• At the end of each session, the Physiotherapist stamps the record as proof of attendance.
• If a student arrives late to class from a physio appointment, they must show the stamped record to their teacher.
• Teachers should then mark the student as Present (P) in PCSchool.
