First Language Support (Korean) - commencing Term 2 or by negotiation

Rangitoto College is seeking a Korean first language support as an important member of our International student team.

This role is 7 hours a week (to be worked on Thursday), commencing Term two 20 April 2026 or by negotiation.

This is a term time only position with the possibility of the hours growing in the future to include some school holidays.

Do you have exceptional relationship and communication skills and a willingness to provide support to young people and their families? Are you an exceptional administrator with experience in databases, Word, Excel, Outlook and other software applications?

This role includes, but is not limited to:

  • Being first point of contact for the Korean international community, including students, families and designated caregivers
  • Interview current Korean first language students on a regular basis to ensure compliance with the Ministry of Education’s Code of Practice for the Pastoral Care of International Students
  • Translation of first language documents for the international office
  • Accurate filing and record keeping
  • Data entry into integrated educational software
  • Taking on more responsibility when the Accommodation Manager is away

Teacher of Health and Physical Education (Outdoor Ed) - commencing T2 2026 or by negotiation

Rangitoto College is looking for a teacher of Health and Physical Education to join our energetic, well-resourced, and collegial Health & PE Department. This is a full time permanent position commencing start of Term 2 or by negotiation. We welcome applications from enthusiastic and motivated teachers who will thrive in a busy and dynamic environment. We are particularly interested in applicants who have experience in Outdoor Education.

In addition to experienced teachers, we welcome applications from beginning or early-career teachers, who can take advantage of our outstanding PCT programme.

Rangitoto College is a high-performing school that aims to give every student the opportunity to thrive and excel. We do this by establishing and maintaining optimal conditions for learning, utilising a Knowledge Rich Curriculum and Mātauranga Māori, and enacting research-informed Teaching Principles.

As well as running a top-performing HPE Scholarship programme, we have a range of PE courses, including Sports Science and Outdoor Education.

Annual remuneration is dependent on service and qualifications, starting $62,862.00 and top rate of $105,686.00. Hours of work will be as set out in the STCA.

Physical Education Day Relief Teacher

At Rangitoto College, we aim to give every student the opportunity to excel, both in the classroom and on the field. In addition to the National Curriculum, we offer the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma.

We are currently seeking energetic and dependable Physical Education & Health Day Relief Teachers to join our relief pool.
