Each week, members both teach and learn a wide variety of models, from decorative pieces to practical designs, gaining a deeper appreciation for the ancient Japanese art of origami.
But the club goes beyond folding paper. Members collect used paper from departments across the College, giving it a second life and raising awareness about the urgent issue of deforestation.
To keep things exciting, the club hosts monthly competitions and is preparing to launch fundraising initiatives to support WWF and other environmental charities.
Whether you’re passionate about art, sustainability, or simply want to try something new, the Ecorigami Club offers a unique way to create, collaborate, and make a difference.
Students must attend 2 club events, and 4 of the weekly meetings to have this added onto their student profile.
