Sustainable Coastlines is an environmental service that focuses on doing beach clean ups, tree plantings and workshops about environmental issues.

Sustainable Coastlines is an environmental service group dedicated to protecting and restoring our natural environment through beach clean‑ups, tree plantings, and workshops on key environmental issues. At Rangitoto College, students are passionate about making a difference—recognising the impact we have on our coastlines and working together to reduce negative effects on our environment.

What We Do

This student‑run club partners with the Sustainable Coastlines charity and collaborates with other North Shore schools, including Kristin School and Westlake Boys’ and Girls’ High Schools. Together, we:

  • Take part in hands‑on environmental projects
  • Raise awareness about sustainability
  • Problem‑solve and think creatively about real‑world environmental challenges
Why Join?
  • Work with like‑minded students who care about the planet
  • Gain service hours while making a positive impact in your community
  • Build teamwork, leadership, and problem‑solving skills
  • Be part of a movement that is shaping a more sustainable future

Get involved with Sustainable Coastlines—help protect our beaches, plant for tomorrow, and create lasting change for our environment.
