Sustainable Coastlines is an environmental service group dedicated to protecting and restoring our natural environment through beach clean‑ups, tree plantings, and workshops on key environmental issues.At Rangitoto College, students are passionate about making a difference—recognising the impact we have on our coastlines and working together to reduce negative effects on our environment.
This student‑run club partners with the Sustainable Coastlines charity and collaborates with other North Shore schools, including Kristin School and Westlake Boys’ and Girls’ High Schools. Together, we:
Get involved with Sustainable Coastlines—help protect our beaches, plant for tomorrow, and create lasting change for our environment.
Participation in this counts towards the service element of the Rangitoto Summit Diploma.
Students will complete 3 events a year to have this activity added onto their student profile.
