Do you enjoy helping others and want to grow your digital skills? The Knightsbridge Tech Support Club gives students the chance to support residents at the retirement home right next door to Rangitoto College.

As a member, you’ll:

Help residents with everyday tech challenges—from navigating Snapchat filters to spotting email scams
Take part in drop‑in sessions after school every few weeks, assisting with tasks like setting up phones or laptops
Lead special presentations on topics chosen by residents—past sessions have included introductions to social media and artificial intelligence
Build your own digital knowledge, communication, and leadership skills while connecting with our neighbours and hearing their amazing stories

This club is flexible—you don’t need to attend every session, and it fits easily around other activities.

Rangitoto Summit Diploma

Students will need to assist twice in an IT Assist Club help or presentation session to qualify having this activity added onto their student profiles.
