Want to use your skills to empower younger students in our community? Join our student-led service initiative to bring accessible tutoring directly to intermediate school students.

As a tutor, you’ll build confidence, strengthen academic foundations, and serve as a positive role model.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead Engaging Sessions: Deliver weekly 1-hour tutoring sessions before or after school.

  • Small Group Focus: Work with interactive groups of 3 to 6 students.

  • Key Subject Areas: Guide students in English, Maths, ESOL support, or Student Success workshops.

  • Beyond the Classroom: Help us raise funds and supply essential stationery to children in need so every student has the tools to thrive.

Ready to make a difference?  Whether you want to step up or support our fundraising efforts we’d love to have you on the team.

What to Expect as a Tutor
  • Flexible Scheduling: You control your availability! Choose the days and times that work best for you, as long as sessions take place outside school hours (before or after school).

  • Resources & Planning: We provide tailored resources to help you plan your lessons in advance. If you ever need to miss a session, just let us know as early as possible so we can assist with coverage.

  • Approval Process: All prospective tutors complete a brief application and approval process before starting sessions.

  • Term Check-Ins: Tutors attend two meetings per term—one for essential team updates and logistics, and a second dedicated to our stationery drive and donation efforts.

Co-curricular Points

5 or 10 points will be added to profiles when criteria are met, dependent on the service opportunity. See your TiC for further information.
