Rangitoto College has a proud history of supporting this challenge. By taking part, students not only raise vital funds but also build awareness of the impact poverty has on the lives of young people around the world.
For 40 continuous hours, students give up something they rely on—whether it’s food, transport, or even their mobile phone. This experience helps build empathy and a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by those living in less fortunate circumstances.
In previous years, Rangitoto College students have raised over $15,000, providing much‑needed support for vulnerable children living through hardship.
Be part of this powerful movement—join the 40 Hour Challenge, make a sacrifice, and help change lives for children around the world.
In order for this to be added onto their student profile, Years 9 and 10 students need to raise at least $50 through their page and sign up as part of the Rangitoto Team.
