At Rangitoto College, our Amnesty International group empowers students to take action on humanitarian issues and welfare crises around the world. As a member, you’ll have the chance to:

• Raise awareness and funds through events and campaigns
• Write letters of advocacy in response to human rights breaches
• Support vulnerable groups affected by global conflicts, climate change, refugee crises, discrimination, and more

By joining, you’ll become part of a passionate community where your voice matters. Together, we stand up for human rights, defend justice, and work to create positive change—both globally and within our own community.

Students need to attend at 2 events and write three letters (1 per Term over Terms 1, 2 and 3)

In order to have your Service Opportunities activity added to your profile in time to be recognised at prizegiving, please ensure it is added by:

• Year 9, 10 and 11: 20 November 2026
• Year 12 & 13: 24 September 2026
