A celebration of student service and achievement in the co-curricular Arts at Rangitoto College. Three categories of awards are given – Merit Awards, Arts Awards and Special Awards, culminating in the announcement of Performing Artist of the Year. In addition to the presentation of awards, there will be magnificent performances from music, dance and drama students, spectacular décor in the auditorium, stunning lighting and stage effects. Attendance at the venue is by invitation only, and formal dress code applies. The event will be videoed and put on our YouTube channel for public viewing.
  Event timings: 6.15pm - auditorium foyer area opens for collection of tickets. 6.30pm - auditorium seating opens. 6.55pm – all guests to be seated. 7pm – ceremony begins (expected end time 9.15pm).

Our Māori and Pacifica Awards Evening is being held this evening in the Auditorium.  Friends and whānau are welcome to join the celebrations and recognise the successes of our rangatahi mā. During the evening, we will celebrate student success, and enjoy performances from our prestigious Kapa Haka group, as well as Tongan and Samoan dances. There is kai from 5:00pm by the flagpole - if attending please bring kai to share.  The awards start at 6:30pm and will finish by 10pm.  This is a free, ticketed event and information will be provided nearer the time on our social media, and internal school communications, on how to obtain tickets.

Rangitoto invites you to celebrate sporting success and accomplishments at our annual Sports Awards.  At the college, many of our students compete at the highest levels in their chosen sports, and these awards are a fantastic way to recognise their achievements throughout the year. The event commences at 6:30pm for a 7pm start and there will be presentations of awards to our outstanding sports students.  Our guest speaker will be Cam Calkoen, Alumni and Paralympics Gold Medalist. We will also share video highlights of our sporting year. This is a free event and by invitation only.  The evening will finish between 9:30pm to 10pm.
