Lunar Festival

Get ready to usher in the new year with a vibrant cultural celebration!  Today, during lunchtime, Rangitoto College will host its annual Lunar Festival event, a celebration of the Lunar New Year filled with tradition, fun, and flavour!

What’s Happening?

• Cultural Immersion: The event is proudly organised by our dedicated Chinese and Korean Student Team Leaders, who have curated an incredible experience.

• Feast & Fun: Enjoy a taste of the new year with traditional food, take part in a variety of fun games, and witness captivating performances of both traditional and contemporary dance.

• Community Connection: We are thrilled to welcome students from our local Kāhui Ako primary and intermediate schools (during the school day), making this a true community celebration!
