With the school’s support, participants develop leadership and teamwork skills while discovering new talents and interests.
In the past, students have taken on challenges such as learning New Zealand Sign Language (NZSL), completing tramps across New Zealand’s stunning landscapes, and giving back to the community through volunteering and service projects.
The Duke of Edinburgh Award encourages students to step outside their comfort zones, engage in meaningful activities both inside and outside of school, and build skills that will benefit them for life.
