At Rangitoto College, students have the opportunity to work towards their Bronze, Silver, and Gold Duke of Edinburgh Awards.

With the school’s support, participants develop leadership and teamwork skills while discovering new talents and interests.

In the past, students have taken on challenges such as learning New Zealand Sign Language (NZSL), completing tramps across New Zealand’s stunning landscapes, and giving back to the community through volunteering and service projects.

The Duke of Edinburgh Award encourages students to step outside their comfort zones, engage in meaningful activities both inside and outside of school, and build skills that will benefit them for life.

Whether you’re looking for adventure, personal growth, or a way to make a difference, this is your chance to take on the challenge. Join the Duke of Edinburgh Award programme and see how far it can take you.
