parkrun is a weekly 5k community run/walk event for people of all ages and athletic abilities. Students will have a range of volunteer opportunities, such as marshalling, setting up, timekeeping and tail walker.

Looking for a fun way to get outside, meet new people, and give back to your community? Volunteering at parkrun is the perfect opportunity!

As a volunteer, you’ll help make these free, weekly 5k events possible by:

  • Setting up and packing down the course
  • Organising the finish funnel
  • Operating the timer
  • Scanning barcodes
  • Or simply cheering participants on!

There’s a role for everyone, and no prior experience is needed.  Step up, get involved, and be part of something bigger—volunteer at parkrun and help make this global event happen right here in your community!
