Ruth Chong's reflection

The Auckland School’s Partnership Programme (ASPP) provided me with an immersive experience into secondary school teaching along with the core aspects of school life, including co-curricular involvement and building relationships with students.

The extensive teaching opportunities I gained as a pre-service teacher in the ASPP, along with access to professional development and the immense support I received from mentor teachers and staff at the college, have all contributed to providing me with a seamless transition into my first year as a secondary school teacher.
