In a thrilling display of talent and teamwork, our Premier Junior Rangitoto Girls team emerged triumphant at the Auckland Junior Volleyball Championship, securing a remarkable three-peat. The team dominated every match, culminating in a resounding 2-0 victory over Mount Albert Grammar in the final. MVP Nat Campbell led the tournament team, joined by standout players Jez Holmes and Rea Simpkins. Rangitoto current student and New Zealand Open Women’s player Kalea Norton helped present the medals to her winning schoolmates.

Kyson Norton and Kenai Stevenson were deserving selections in the male tournament team. The boys battled fiercely, clinching bronze by defeating Manurewa in a nail-biting three-setter.

The girls’ flawless performance, not losing a single set, showcased their exceptional skill. It followed the domination of the Super League and the Junior Premier League. Gratitude extends to dedicated coaches, managers, and all involved, making this championship a memorable success.
