BACK

It has been a busy Term 4 for the Library Team. Cherrill Hurley has returned with gusto and has been busy reconnecting with teachers and students.

The last few weeks have seen us supporting many of our seniors in preparation for exams, not only with resources but also with a quiet space for study time.

High tea was provided for our Year 13 Student Librarians to farewell them and wish them all the best for their future. It is sad to see them go but also rewarding to see them develop into young adults ready to take the next step.

The juniors received an ice-cream sundae lunch, which is always a winner, to thank them for their hard work throughout the year.

We are also excited to present our summer reading promotion, Uber Reads, for our students and teachers alike. It may look like food, but inside are three lucky dip books of a particular genre. Research shows that reading over the summer ensures students do not suffer a reading loss, which can affect all subject areas, making sure they start their year successfully.

We wish all students and their families a safe and Happy Christmas and look forward to seeing you all in the new year.
