BACKRangitoto College invites you to join us on Friday 18 August at 6:30 pm at our Summit Academy Gala Dinner to celebrate and honour four distinguished alumni. This inspirational evening will be filled with entertainment, a delicious three-course meal, unlimited refreshments, and a touch of mystery with this year’s theme being Masquerade—a masquerade mask is greatly encouraged.
The Summit Academy was established in 2011 to identify honoured graduates of the college. These distinguished alumni are recognised for their leadership, achieving excellence in their field, and contributing to society in a significant way.
This recognition is designed to show these alumni that the college appreciates that some of their formative education took place here and, in a sense, it is welcoming them home.
This year we celebrate four incredible alumni:
Nigel Avery, Jenene Crossan, Dr Peter Connor, and Erica Stanford.
Our honourees are admired on a daily basis by having a plaque on our Wall of Fame in the foyer of the Auditorium. This plaque has their photograph and details of their significant achievements so that our current students, teachers, and members of the school community are able to view this when entering the Auditorium.
We encourage current parents, alumni, past staff, and friends of our community to attend and enjoy this evening with us. You will be wined, dined, and entertained and share in this special occasion to honour four inspirational alumni and learn more about their journies so far.
