It has been lovely to see students back at school this term. Our returning Student Librarians are busy helping to make our library run smoothly and efficiently. We have recruited twelve Year 9 students to work with our current team and are looking forward to getting to know them. We appreciate the time and effort the Student Librarians voluntarily give to the library.

Our Year 9 orientation lessons, where new students are shown how to access our extensive resources and books, have been completed this term.  During orientation, we explain how the library works and help students load printers onto their devices. We also help them to access E-books and audiobooks.

The 2022 Readers Cup team has also been chosen. This year we have Leanne Guan, Henna Hwang, Kate Rogers, Milo Sandler, and Sylvia Yu representing Rangitoto College. They will compete against other Auckland schools next term.

We have enjoyed having the Year 13s in the library in their study breaks and thank them for continuing to sign in.

We are here to help students, so please ask if you have any queries or need assistance to find a good book to relax with or information for your research topics.
