BACKRangitoto College held its fourth annual Golf Day Fundraiser (filled with sunshine) at Pupuke Golf Club on Friday 8th April. It was an action-packed day filled with fun, laughter and of course, competition! This year has been our most supported event to date, with 37 teams (148 players)! We also had our amazing Student Sports Committee involved in the fundraiser, lending a hand, handing out food and managing some of our tee challenges for the golfers.
Thanks to the support of our golfers and sponsors, the day was an amazing success with a total of $22,227 raised. These funds will go towards upgrading our library facilities as well as our Student Hardship Fund, helping our families in need.
We had a number of generous sponsors on board who helped ensure our golfers were fed and refreshed throughout a long day on the course. We are extremely grateful to Sal’s NY Authentic Pizza, Subway, Deep Creek Brewery and F45 Rosedale, as well as our many other sponsors who contributed to a total prize pool of $37,352!
