Rangitoto College has a strong contingent of swimmers and we are proud to hold a number of national and regional titles.

Term 1

Season Dates

Competitions are held throughout the year.

Training Times

Students should join a local swimming club. The school does not offer training.

Rangitoto College provides opportunities for our students to compete against other schools at top swimming competitions. We look to support and provide our swimmers that are part of local swim clubs to excel and represent the school. We enter students in the College Sport competitions, North Harbour Champs, Champ of Champs and NZSS.

Venues and transport

Various local venues. Own transport is required, car-pooling is encouraged. Parent managers are required.

Uniform

Rangitoto swim togs along with a Rangitoto swim cap. Travelling to events and prior to getting changed into their swimming gear, students representing Rangitoto College are required to wear their school uniform.

PE t-shirts and shorts are to be worn poolside.
