BACKFor the first time ever, the Commerce Department was proudly represented in all three categories of the Commerce Pursuits Quiz run by the New Zealand Commerce and Economics Teachers Association (NZCETA) and the University of Auckland.
Our hardworking Economics students were at their best, placing on the podium with an impressive second-place finish. The team was represented by Micaela Akiva (Micaela) David, Yoon Hoo (Henry) Ji, Junwoo (JK) Kim, Siyuan (Emily) Li, and Austin Picard.
In a tightly contested Business Studies competition, our students achieved a respectable fifth-place finish. Representing the team were Greer Muller, Mila Morles, Kate Thynne, and Sofia Mhaegan Yu.
In their maiden competition, the Accounting team performed remarkably well and narrowly missed out on the podium, achieving an outstanding fourth-place finish. The team was composed of Jiajing (Jane) Chen, Ceinwen Evans, Euan Kao, Eunice Manansala, and Yusiyan (Ashley) Xie.
