Location:  S12

We tackle questions about space in an approachable way and learn something new every time we meet.

We share photos of local astronomical events that can be witnessed with or without specialised equipment, guiding each other along the way. This club is an opportunity to join a community of astronomers at Rangitoto College who will take us beyond the stars.

Rangitoto Summit Diploma and Year 11 Diploma

For both the Summit Diploma and the Year 11 Diploma, students should attend at least 3 meetings.

  • Year 9 and Year 10: 21 November 2025
  • Year 11: 19 November 2025
  • Year 12 and Year 13: 18 September 2025
