BACK

Remember teased hair, grunge bands, and dial-up internet?  Our classes of the 1990s sure do, and many of them reconnected at our Rangi Reunion held on 4 September at The Merchant Pub Co, proving that while times have changed, some things, like old friendships, never go out of style.

While nostalgia was undoubtedly a major theme, the reunion was also a chance to celebrate how far everyone has come. Conversations flowed easily, covering everything from career triumphs to parenting adventures, and the challenges and joys of navigating adult life. There was a definite sense of shared history and understanding that only comes from growing up together.

The evening wasn’t just about looking back, but also about appreciating the present and looking forward to the future. Principal Patrick Gale shared some insights into what the College is like now for our students, many of whom are children of our 1990s alumni.  Some of our current staff attended who also taught our 90s students making us all realise how time flies!

Thank you to all those who came along and reconnected with Rangi. It was a pleasure to welcome you back. Keep an eye out in 2026 for news about our 70th Jubilee celebration.
