A wonderful opportunity for students to be creative and energetic while learning traditional Chinese dances and their place in Chinese legends and culture.

As part of the club, you’ll wear dazzling, colourful costumes and bring these dances to life, moving to the rhythm of traditional Chinese melodies. Talented students are encouraged to showcase their skills at our annual Chinese Evening and represent the school at the ASB Polyfest Diversity Stage.
You’ll have the opportunity to learn short pieces of the following dances, with the aim of completing one each half term:
Whether you’re new to dance or already experienced, this is a chance to develop your skills, celebrate culture, and perform on stage. Join us and be part of a vibrant tradition of movement, music, and performance.
