The Student Volunteer Army (SVA) is all about empowering students to give back to their communities in meaningful ways. By joining, you’ll not only make a difference but also log service hours that recognise your contribution.

What Counts as Volunteering?

Volunteering is any service you provide for free, such as:

Coaching and umpiring
Working bees and ecological projects
Music performances for the community
Charity work and fundraising
Food donations
Responding to natural disasters

Rangitoto Summit Diploma

SVA is a way for students to log volunteer hours beyond the requirements of the diploma. If you are interested in actively contributing to your community in an ongoing basis, SVA is the group for you. Students receive recognition and badges as they reach different milestones.
