BACKRangitoto College’s International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma programme continues to set a global benchmark for academic excellence. As a rigorous two-year curriculum designed to prepare students for the modern world, the IB Diploma is widely regarded as the “Gold Standard” of international education. With IB45 the maximum, students scoring IB40+ are in a select group of academics who score in the world’s highest 10%. Our Rangitoto students will join other New Zealand Top Scholars in Wellington at Parliament in late January to be awarded their Top Scholar Certificates.
The 2025 results further solidify the College’s reputation, with students performing significantly above the global average, an impressive feat when measured against IB-exclusive schools worldwide.

Bilingual Diploma
In an increasingly connected world, Rangitoto College is proud to celebrate 19 students who earned the prestigious Bilingual Diploma.
