It’s an exciting way for students to challenge themselves, build fitness, and celebrate culture—all while having fun.
The dance involves two performers working together inside a large lion costume, one as the head and the other as the tail. Both roles welcome a wide range of fitness levels, heights, and abilities, making this a truly inclusive activity where everyone can participate.
Rooted in traditional Chinese martial arts, the movements help students develop strength, coordination, and musicality. Members also work as a team to prepare for Chinese Night and other community events, showcasing their skills and sharing this vibrant tradition with wider audiences.
Join the Lion Dance Club to build confidence, improve your fitness, and be part of a team that brings this spectacular tradition to life on stage.
