How do we take a 400-year-old script and make it our own? Students take full creative lead for the SGCNZ Shakespeare Festival, bringing their own original concepts and bold interpretations to the stage. This creative exploration continues in our full-scale production, where performers and director collaborate to master Shakespeare’s iconic words and bring to life characters and stories that continue to resonate with people all around the world today.
Rehearsals
One to two after-school sessions per week, with additional rehearsals in the lead up to a performance.
