BACKFollowing a stellar premier season where they claimed the premier championship title, our 1st XI Girls Cricket team continued their dominant streak by going unbeaten through the Girls National Qualifiers. Despite the tournament being hampered by weather had done enough to take out the tournament and secured their place in the New Zealand Secondary Schools Tournament.
This is a historic milestone for Rangitoto Sport, as this 1st XI becomes the first-ever Rangitoto cricket team to qualify for Nationals. We are immensely proud of the team and the hard mahi they have put in.
Under the guidance of Coach Nathan Banks, the girls are now focused and ready to begin their national campaign.
